The hotel is conveniently located near the Railway station. It is close to bars, restaurants, shops, and scenic river walks in Ilkley town center and surrounding areas.

Practical room, generous breakfast. Good area and pleasant views.

Feeling that I appreciated this pleasant hotel after staying for 1 night. Overall it was normal double with a comfortable bed. A hair dryer, a shower cap and bath sheets were available there.

The breakfast here is delicious, the room is clean, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable, with a stunning location surrounded by beautiful moors.

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel for a number of reasons. The room was extremely small - which is fine if all you are doing is sleeping there but for the price I paid I would expect something a little more luxurious or even larger. I was by myself in a double room, had there been two of us there wouldn't have been room to move around each other. Music from an event downstairs was played until 1-45am and it was impossible to get to sleep - which was fine if you were involved in that particular party but I wasn't and nor was I informed that it would be going on until this time when I booked in.

The lift didn't work.

The standard double room I booked here was spacious and included a comfortable double bed and a large window.

A beautiful, very peaceful location and quiet atmosphere in the hotel, so very relaxing during the time we were there. Our bedroom was quiet as requested (not the fault of the hotel there we two noisy guests in a room near us) and high up as requested with beautiful views over the tops of trees. A good English breakfast. An invigorating walk down into Ilkley, about 10 minutes at the most so very a healthy experience.

The bathroom was a bit dated, but everything worked and it was clean, so can't fault that. A feature of an old but very grand Yorkshire stone building.

It was our 40th wedding anniversary the day we stayed and my daughter, who lives in Italy, was delighted with the beautiful flowers and bubbles that were in our room when we arrived. My daughter said the staff were most helpful.

There was nothing to dislike

Easy to find, ample parking and good food in the hotel for the evening meal with pleasant staff.

Hotel just a bit 'tired' and could do with a refurb.
